Our implementation approach for VIM is captured in a simple methodology called DEEP.  DEEP is a multi-stage, program oriented methodology, which addresses customer objectives in a phased and controlled manner.  This approach has been repeatedly proven to reduce total project costs and risks, but perhaps more importantly, results in a long-term solution that is more ‘fit for purpose’ and aligned with the objective of delivering centralized management with local autonomy.

We measure success on the basis of our customers being able to realize operational value from an ‘out of the box’ VIM deployment within weeks.  We believe it is essential that experience is transferred early so that our business and IT customers can express any further specific needs in the context of the new ‘in control’ paradigm delivered by the standard VIM product.
